Finncont strengthens its presence across Europe with dedicated regional experts

Finncont continues to expand its international footprint and strengthen its ability to serve industrial customers across Europe and beyond. As part of this strategy, the company is investing in a stronger local presence in key markets, ensuring that clients receive responsive service, technical expertise, and solutions tailored to their specific needs.
Finncont strengthens its presence across Europe with dedicated regional Sales Managers.
New Sales Manager in the UK and Ireland
A central step in this expansion is the appointment of Marc Baker as the new Sales Manager for the United Kingdom and Ireland. Marc brings valuable experience from the industrial solutions sector, combined with a deep understanding of local business practices and customer requirements.
Marc brings extensive experience in industrial packaging and containers designed for hazardous goods. He is well-versed in regulatory compliance, including UN certification standards, and has successfully overseen the selection, testing, and implementation of safe and efficient packaging solutions for a wide range of dangerous goods. His expertise ensures both the protection of handlers and the integrity of the goods during storage and transportation.
By establishing a stronger foothold in the UK and Irish markets, Finncont can work more closely with its customers, providing hands-on support and building long-term partnerships.

New Sales Manager for Southern Europe
Earlier this year, Finncont also reinforced its position in Southern Europe with the appointment of Guillaume Aulois as Sales Manager for the region. Guillaume has extensive experience in industrial solutions and a strong understanding of the Southern European market.
With years of experience in industrial packaging and a strong specialization in IBCs, Guillaume joined Finncont earlier this year to strengthen its presence in Southern Europe. His career has focused on commercial management, developing packaging solutions tailored to industrial needs, and building strong customer relationships in demanding environments. He has worked closely with major industry players to offer innovative and sustainable solutions, while ensuring sales growth and customer satisfaction. His expertise covers both the technical aspects of containers and the logistical and regulatory issues related to their use.
Sales Manager in Finland
In Finland, Marko Pekkala is responsible for industrial sales, serving local customers with deep, long-term expertise. Unlike some of the newly appointed colleagues abroad, Marko has been part of Finncont for many years and knows the company’s solutions and customer needs inside out.
With 30 years of experience in the tank and container industry, including six years at Finncont, Marko has led and contributed to numerous development projects focused on improving the transportation and storage of liquid food products and chemicals. His deep knowledge of safety, quality, and efficiency provides a solid foundation for developing practical, reliable, and customer-oriented solutions for Finnish industrial clients.

Leadership in Northern Europe and global markets
In addition to the regional Sales Managers in the south and the UK & Ireland, Timo Raiskinmäki leads Finncont’s activities in Northern Europe and oversees the company’s operations in other international markets as Business Director. He is responsible for the overall business development and strategy across these markets.
As Business Director, Timo leads Finncont’s industrial operations and global sales. In addition to his executive responsibilities, he personally manages customer relationships in Northern Europe and across the globe. His broad international experience in industrial solutions and logistics enables him to ensure consistent service quality, drive business growth, and strengthen the company’s global customer network.
Strengthening operations with Senior Sales Coordination
Supporting all these markets, Hanna Pollari works as Senior Sales Coordinator, ensuring smooth operations, efficient customer service, and reliable coordination between customers, partners, and Finncont’s internal teams.
Hanna brings a strong background in international export, having worked in the metal industry as well as the pharmaceutical and nutraceutical sectors. This experience has given her a deep understanding of diverse product quality requirements. Since joining Finncont four years ago, she has applied this expertise to ensure smooth operations, efficient customer service, and reliable coordination between customers, partners, and internal teams.
