Blok 2 becomes Module and Luowia becomes Icon – a step towards stronger brand consistency and an improved customer experience
Finncont, together with its retail partners, is introducing new product names for its recycling systems. From January 2026, Blok 2 will be renamed Module, and Luowia will become Icon.
“The renewal of product names is an important step towards a more unified and internationally stronger brand. Module and Icon better reflect the flexibility, quality, and design of our products, and they support Finncont’s growth across all markets. Collaboration with our Nordic partners has been decisive in this process, and we are pleased to offer our customers solutions that are clearer and easier to recognize—regardless of country or language. In addition, Finncont, as the manufacturer of these products, has distributors in other countries as well, who will also benefit from this change in their own markets,” states Minna Mäkelä, Business Director at Finncont.
Why are we changing the names?
The new names are more international and easier to pronounce, which strengthens our global profile. Consistent naming reduces confusion and simplifies communication for sales, marketing and customer service. International names improve searchability and online visibility and support expansion into new markets—aligned with our long-term strategy.
